Returning to training: slower than excitement, smarter than rest

The absence of pain is not always readiness for the pitch. Strength, control, and balance return on a different clock from the fading of discomfort.
Instead of “When can I return?”, ask “What can my body carry today with confidence?” That shift is useful before any programme.
