Post-operative rehabilitation

Structured support after surgery to rebuild everyday movement in gradual steps.

Post-operative rehabilitation

When might this help?

For people who have had, or are preparing for, joint, spine, or soft-tissue surgery and want a clear rehabilitation path.

Our approach

We respect any surgical protocol you have, and adapt exercises to pain, swelling, and function. We do not rush stages.

After surgery the body needs time and the right pace. At Osteopathy we work within the limits of assessment and any medical guidance you have, helping you rebuild daily movement with more confidence. A plan may include early safe exercises, then strength and control, reviewed as things change. Pace depends on the procedure and on how you respond.

What happens during care?

  1. 01Review of the procedure and any available medical notes.
  2. 02Assessment of the current stage.
  3. 03A weekly plan that can be adjusted.

What this may support

  • Clearer steps after surgery
  • Exercises matched to your stage
  • Follow-up on progress, swelling, and pain
